BANGOR TOWNSHIP BOARD OF EDUCATION

SPECIAL MEETING

MARCH 11,2004

The Bangor Township Board of Education held a special meeting on Thursday, March 11, 2004, at Christa McAuliffe idle School. President Kowalski called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Members Present:  Richard Kowaiski, George Thomas, Dawn Klida, Terrence O’Hare, John Loop, Barbara Skowronski, and Scott Sturm

Members Absent: None.

EXPRESSIONS/COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC 

None

SUPERINTENDENT INTERVIEW – CHRISTINE BEARDSLEY

Mr. Kowalski introduced Christine Beardsley, Oscoda Area Schools Superintendent, to the interview team and reviewed the process that would be followed for the superintendent candidate interview.

At the completion of Ms. Beardsley’s interview at 7:30 p.m. a five minute recess was called by Mr. Kowalski.

At 7:35 p.m. the meeting reconvened.

SUPERINTENDENT INTERVIEW – LINDA OLSON

Mr. Kowalski introduced Linda Olson, Arenac-Eastern Schools Superintendent, to the interview team and reviewed the process that would be followed for the superintendent candidate interview.

None.

At 8:47 p.m. a motion was made by Dawn Klida, supported by George Thomas, to adjourn the meeting.
