WHY CHOOSE OUR PROGRAMS CHILD CARE PROGRAM - Telephone number: 989-684-4890 Ext.211Open all year including holidays, school breaks/vacations, and snow days. Children ages 2 1/2 to 12 years (Children must be trained in the full use of the toilet to attend day care) - 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday - Weekly - full day - half day - hourly rates available Before and after school program available - Transportation from child care to and from school (if child lives within Bangor Township) - Lunch is available during the school year Monday through Thursday.
PRESCHOOL AND CHILDCARE If you wish to drop your child or children off in the morning on your way to work, we will see that your child is taken to the appropriate classroom here at Bangor North for his or her daily Preschool or Readiness program. At the conclusion of the program, your child will be returned to the childcare center. Thus, parents can have childcare throughout the day as well as having your child(ren) participate in the Preschool or Readiness programs. Parents determine how long they wish their child to attend the childcare center. We offer hourly, half-day, full day, and weekly rates.
BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM We provide "latch key" childcare services for parents who have to be at work early each day and need supervision for your child prior to the beginning of school. Parents can drop their child off at Bangor North Child Care anytime after 6:30 a.m.; transportation is provided from the Child Care Center to and from school each day for students living in Bangor Township. At the end of the day, we will bus your child from his or her Bangor Township elementary school to Bangor North Child Care where you can pick your child up anytime until 6:00 p.m.
SUMMER PROGRAM Field trips with transportation by Bangor Township School buses - Computers - Fenced-in play area - Art projects - Other special activities Tuition Based Preschool Program- Telephone number: 989-684-4890 Two Preschool Sessions - 3 & 4 year olds - A.M. Session: 9:00-11:30 - P.M. Session: 12:30-3:00 - Monday – Thursday (September through May) - Tuition: $120.00 per month - Enrollment Fee: $30.00. We offer a lunch program for both sessions. Great Start Preschool Program Information This is a free program for qualifying four-year old children who live in Bangor Township. This program is funded by the State of Michigan and emphasizes readiness skills for Kindergarten. At Bangor North Preschool and Child Care, we have two Great Start classrooms where each teacher has a Bachelors Degree in Education; and the classroom assistants have Child Development Associates Degrees. The Great Start classrooms follow the Creative Curriculum approach to learning and believe that children need to discover in order to learn. Each child’s uniqueness is celebrated, and integrate that uniqueness into the developmental appropriate learning environment.
