Textbook Handout Process

JG Parents and Students,

Next week we will be conducting our textbook handout at John Glenn so students can have their material at home for remote learning. Please pay special attention to the classes listed below, not all teachers need to use a textbook or they have digital resources that they will be using. We will also be handing out Chromebooks to any Freshman or new students that still have not received theirs.  We tried to make the times accommodate work schedules the best that we can. 

The times for pickup are as follows:

-Tuesday, August 25th-  9 am -12 pm  and  2 pm - 5 pm

-Thursday, August 27th-  8 am -10 am  and  3 pm -6 pm

*Available to pick up from the office from 7am-3pm any day after the 27th if you cannot make any of these times. 

Here is the process (also explained in the attached video):

  1. Enter JG in the bus entrance off of Kiesel and drive to the bus circle in front of the gym. 

  2. The student or parent needs to wait until a staff member comes to the car to let them out. 

  3. Once out of the car you will need to put on a mask because you will be entering into the gym lobby. Please make sure you have your schedule available. You can print it out ahead of time or have it available on your phone. This will help speed up the process. 

  4. Once inside you will find the textbooks for the classes that you need them for. They will be out on tables and staff members will be there to help assist. 

  5. If you have not received your Chromebook yet, we will have that available at the end of the table as well. 

  6. When done you will exit out the doors, return to your vehicle, loop around the bus circle and return to Kiesel.
