"In my future, even though I don't know what type of work I want to go into, I will keep Dr. King's dream alive no matter what it ends up being," says William Ozdych, John Glenn High School (Bangor Township, Michigan) senior. "I want to continue to make Dr. King's dream a reality by helping those around me who need it."

William has been Vice President for school government all for years of high school, is the captain of the football team, a member of the Just For Kids Charitable Organization - Maier & Associates youth board, and has volunteered through Boys & Girls Clubs of the Great Lakes Bay Region.

On Monday, William will be awarded with a regional Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship at the Virtual MLK Celebration: Keynote Speaker Van Jones. The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Regional Scholarships are awarded each year to area high school seniors who actively embrace Dr. King’s dream of improving racial harmony and social justice.
