On Thursday the 29th of March, the BTVS students and parents were invited to a school violence awareness event in which students expressed their concern over the growing media coverage of violence in American schools. The event included student speakers, a moment of silence for the Parkland, Florida victims, a violence awareness presentation, introduction to OK2SAY, and a kindness rock painting activity.
