Hobbies/Interests: Serving on the John Glenn Booster Club, attending athletic events, plays, concerts, spending time with her family and traveling. She is excited to serve on the Bangor Township School Board and looking forward to working with administration to provide transparency and open communication to our district.

Secretary Brian Gallagher

Board Member Since: 2019

Education: Graduate of John Glenn High School (1998), Bachelor’s of Science from Saginaw Valley State University (2002), and a Master’s of Science - Physicians Assistant from Central Michigan University (2004).

Family: Married to Theresa Gallagher. Three children; Lauren, William, and Katherine, all students of Bangor Township Schools.

Hobbies/Interests: After serving the Bay Region for over 10 years as a family practice and emergency medicine PA, Mr. Gallagher began serving as the Chief Clinical Officer for TribalEM managing, staffing, and working in emergency departments on Native American land. When not working, he is in the auditorium, natatorium, or the stands at Bangor Township sporting events cheering on the Bobcats and supporting his children in their theater performances and athletic events. He also enjoys golf and being on the water in the Bangor Township region.

Trustee Brooke Cunningham

Board Member Since: 2023

Education: Graduate of John Glenn High School (2017), Bachelor’s of Social Work from Ferris State University (2020), and a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Michigan (2021).

Family: Married to Austen Gawronski. Parents, Jeni and Troy Cunningham. Brother, Chase Cunningham.

Hobbies/Interests: After earning a Masters Degree in Social Work, Ms. Cunningham began working for the Bay-Arenac ISD as a (31N) Mental Health Counselor. Ms. Cunningham provides services to 2nd through 12th grade students with social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. After school hours, Brooke enjoys playing pickleball, listening to podcasts, and volunteering.

Vice President Mark Seymour

Board Member Since: 2005

Education: 1985 JGHS Graduate, Delta College, DeVry Technical Institute, Honorable Medical Discharge United States Navy Nuclear Program.

Family: Married to Tammy Seymour, two children: Matt & Chelsea, two stepchildren: Dana & Kiah, and two grandchildren: Riley and Elliott.

Hobbies/Interests: Spending time with my family, watching college football, biking with my wife, and spending summers up north.

Board Member's Goals/Objectives: To focus on providing all students with the best education possible. Helping to maintain our district's facilities and keep them functional. Ensuring that our district remains fiscally responsible.

Treasurer Kristin Weston

Board Member Since: 2021

Education: Graduate of John Glenn High School (2018); Bachelor’s of Chemistry Education from Saginaw Valley State University (2022).

Family: Parents are Shannan and Russ Weston. Sister; Katelyn Weston, student at John Glenn High School.

Hobbies/Interests: After graduating from Bangor Schools, Kristin continued her education at Saginaw Valley State University pursuing a Chemistry degree. Kristin is dedicated to her community and is excited to serve on the Bangor Township School Board. Her current hobbies include traveling, sports, and creating custom designs.

Trustee Jason Forgash

Board Member Since: 2017

Education: Graduated from Ferris State University in 1991 with a Bachelor's of Science degree. Jason is currently the President and COO of Bay Plastics Machinery in Bangor Township.

Family: Married to Margaret Forgash. Two children; Dakota and Garett

Hobbies/Interests: Mr. Forgash moved back to Bangor with his family in 2005. After enrolling both of his children in the Bangor Township Schools, he became more and more interested in the district - its successes and its struggles. He hopes to become more active in working with the administration to continue to improve the education and extracurricular activities for the students of this district.

Trustee Brian Tobin

Board Member Since: 2006

Education: Engineering Degree, GMI-General Motors Institute (now Kettering University)

Family: Married to Debra Tobin. Three children; Ryan, Kaitlyn, and Kristen. Hobbies/Interests: Attending athletic events of his children, woodworking, construction projects.

Board Member's Goals/Objectives: To focus on and improve the district's academic performance. Assist in keeping the financial aspect of the district sound. Ensure the district's buildings and grounds are functional and well maintained.
