  • Please make sure to check the lost and found today. Any unclaimed items left after the last day of school will be either donated or thrown away. 

  • Today is our last day of school before summer vacation begins. We will be dismissed at 10:30 AM. We will begin lining up and preparing for our 8th grade clap out at approximately 10:15 AM today. 

  • Have a relaxing, fun and safe summer! We look forward to seeing everyone back at CMMS in August!!

  • ATTENTION 8th GRADE BOYS interested in playing TENNIS at JGHS as 9th graders - there is a signup sheet outside of Mr. Miller’s door - please add your name to this list if you are interested in getting more information joining our JGHS Boys Tennis team next year!

  • We will be cleaning out lockers for the summer on Wednesday. 6th Grade will clean out 12:55-1:10 (end of 5th hour), 7th Grade at 1:25-1:40, 8th Grade at 1:55-2:10. 

  • The library will be closed today during 5th and 6th hours for our peer to peer celebration. 

  • Any middle school student interested in singing, dancing, acting, and being part of a new Disney musical is invited to audition for Dare to Dream Jr. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, June 9 at 5:00 PM at John Glenn High School in the auditorium. This show includes familiar Disney songs you know and love, and auditions are open to students from any school in the Great Lakes Bay Region.  Email Mrs. Graves for the audition form.  Come dream big and audition to be part of the magic!   

  • Lunch today is Grab & Go -OR- the main choice line, Cook’s Choice,  fruit, Salad Bar, and your choice of Milk.

This show includes familiar Disney songs you know and love, and auditions are open to students from any school in the Great Lakes Bay Region.  Email Mrs. Graves for the audition form.  Come dream big and audition to be part of the magic!   

  • ATTENTION 8th Graders … FINAL CALL for volunteering at the Ribfest! If you are interested in volunteering at Ribfest pick up the form in the CMMS office today! Don’t forget this is a great way to earn community service hours which WILL COUNT toward the required hours needed in high school if you wish to join the National Honor Society or if you plan to apply for college scholarships. If you sign up with a friend you will be assigned to work together! Volunteers will receive Little Caesar’s Pizza, Gatorade and ice water, and a  free admission wrist band for all four days of the Ribfest. 

  • Lunch today is Grab & Go -OR- Breakfast Bar -OR- the main choice line, Chicken Tenders, Oven Fries, fruit, Salad Bar, and your choice of Milk.

Tryout times are 3:00–4:00 for next year’s 7th graders, 4:15–5:15 for next year’s 8th graders, and 5:30–6:30 for next year’s 6th graders. Players must have shin guards, soccer cleats, and a current sports physical to participate. You can sign up using the tryout form and email physicals to Mr. Albrecht before tryouts or bring a copy with you that day. The sign-up form has been emailed to your parents!

  • Attention any students who have classes over JGHS - when you are returning to CMMS from your class at JGHS you must remain in the vestibule area with Ms. Kris until the bell rings. You may not enter the hallways until the bell has rung. This applies to ALL hours - including, 3rd hour students who will be coming back in for A lunch and 4th hour students who will be coming in for B lunch.

  • CMMS Sideline Cheer Tryouts will continue today, Wednesday, May 27 from 4:00-7:00 at the JGHS Gym Mezzanine. You must have your physical on file through Final Forms. If you have any questions, please reach out to Coach Courtney. There is a flyer posted in the CMMS office window with details.

  • ATTENTION 8th Graders … Don’t forget to sign up for the volunteer opportunity with Bay County Crime Stoppers to earn community service hours which WILL COUNT toward the required hours needed in high school if you wish to join the National Honor Society or if you plan to apply for college scholarships. Volunteers will be helping at the β€œRIBFEST” in late July. Don’t forget, If you sign up with a friend you will be assigned to work together! Volunteers will receive Little Caesar’s Pizza, Gatorade and ice water, and a  free admission wrist band for all four days of the Ribfest. Please pick up a sign up form from the CMMS Office.
