This is Shawna Young's first year as a preschool classroom aide π€π Her favorite teacher growing up was Mr. Sawicki - he always had a fun and positive energy to him. After work, Miss Shawna can be found curled up on the couch with a soft blanket and a book reading π₯° I asked Miss Shawna what made her want to work with preschoolers? She said growing up she always loved the younger kids and loves seeing how much they grow! π± If she weren't a teacher, Miss Shawna would pick up her camera and get back into photography π·

Miss Keely did her student teaching at Bangor North last year and with the addition of a fourth classroom this year, is now Lead Teaching her very own preschool classroom! 𧑠Keely's most memorable teacher was her high school calculus teacher because she was someone who went above and beyond for her students π¦πΌ π§πΌ After a long day of teaching, Miss Keely likes to go on walks or listen to music π§ Miss Keely became a teacher because she always loved school! A chef is what Miss Keely would be if she wasn't a teacher π©βπ³ That's what she stated she wanted to hear at her own preschool graduation π We are so glad to have Miss Keely on our preschool team this year!!! #teacherappreciationweek
