Miss Courtney has been teaching preschool for 3 years. Her most memorable teachers growing up were Ms. Dziurka and Mrs. Bullock. To destress after work, Miss Courtney likes to watch documentaries, do yoga, or curl up with a good book! 📚📚 If she could teach any other grade it would be first grade. If she wasn't a teacher, you would find Miss Courtney being a travel blogger!!

It's Teacher Appreciation Week 📚✂️✏️🚌🖍️ Meet Ms. Sarah, who has been teaching now for 10 years! Mrs. Neetz, her sixth grade teacher, was her favorite because she struggled with reading and Mrs. Neetz was always so nice and would take time to help her get through things. You could tell she loved teaching! ❤️🍎❤️ She also loved Scooby-Doo and her whole classroom was decorated with different Scooby-Doo things. I asked Ms. Sarah how she destresses after work and she said by listening to music on the drive home and then changing into comfy clothes and relaxing with her dog 🎶 🐕 What made Ms. Sarah want to become a teacher was a special education in her elementary school who made her feel like she could do anything, even when she was struggling. She made school fun 🫶 I asked Ms. Sarah what grade she would like to teach other than preschool. She said special education 🌈

Meet Amanda Zelno, in her first year as Teacher Assistant at Bangor North Preschool! 😎 Her most memorable teacher is her eighth grade history teacher, Mr. Greer. Ms. Amanda uses Yoga to relax after a long day of teaching 😌 What made Ms. Amanda want to become a teacher? She started as a parent volunteer at her sons' school, working in the lunchroom and subbing in classrooms, and really liked it! 🤓 "The opportunity to apply at the preschool came up and I honestly fell in love with it" (And we're so glad she applied!) Her second job choice would have been a paralegal in a law office. 📝

In honor of Teacher Appreciation week, I asked Ms. Tami the following questions: How long have you been teaching preschool? 20 years 😃 Who was your most memorable teacher growing up? Ms. Brown, my third grade teacher. She made me feel special and loved. 💗💗💗💗What's the funniest thing a student has said or done? Two preschoolers were arguing. One ended up saying "I'm sorry" and the other one started singing a popular song at the time that says "It's too late to apologize." 😆 What made you want to become a teacher? I was fascinated by brain development in the early years, especially in young children. I wanted to make a difference in children's lives. 💙🐾 If you could teach any other grade, which would you choose? Probably third grade. I was a paraprofessional in third grade, and I loved that age! 🍎🍏If you weren't a teacher, what would you be doing? I would be a vet tech. I love animals! 🐶

How are we going to make our tower taller?
over 1 year ago, Tami Jacobs
We had to problem solve to figure out how we were going to get our tower taller.
When the chairs no longer worked we asked Ms. Tami to help us !
Look how tall Ms. Tami!!
Today we did a science experiment with "a pot of gold", backing soda, gold glitter and a gold coin.
over 1 year ago, Tami Jacobs
They loved watching their pot of gold explode.
Our predictions were a little different than what happened !
They loved the chemical reaction!!
The Preschoolers were so excited when the pots started to overflow!
