Count Day is next week on Wednesday the 10th of February.
What is Count Day?
Count Day is when all public schools in the state of Michigan tally the number of students attending their schools. Count information is critical to districts, because each student translates into state funding. Count Days and school funding in Michigan are mandated through the State School Aid Act.
How is my student counted?
Students are counted in ONE of the following ways:
Completing gradable work ON February 10th

Two way communication each week for four weeks following count day

Hello BTVS Families,
I will be making a change to the student handbook regarding course changes. Any course changes must be made WITHIN THE FIRST TWO WEEKS of the start of the course. Therefore, all courses that begin on February 1st have a deadline for students to request a change by Friday the 12th of February at 4PM. These requests must be submitted to the student’s mentor teacher via email. Any requests to change after 4PM on Friday the 12th of February will not be processed.

Hello BTVS Families,
Our Lifetouch picture day is Wednesday the 17th of February at our Euclid Location. Linked below is a sign-up through Sign-up Genius. The whole event will take place from 11AM to 7PM to allow for social distancing. Every 20 minutes we will have 20 students enter the facility to move quickly through the picture taking process with the two photographers that will be available (masks are required, but can be removed for the picture). (Note: You may need to log into a computer to see all available time slots.)
