Attention JGHS students! There is an opportunity to volunteer for Summer 2022! The formerly called ‘Camp Meadows’ (name changed to ‘Blooming Meadows’) will be held June 20th through July 27th, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, 10 AM to 1:45 PM; no session on Monday, July 4th. Please pick up forms in the main office if interested!
Hope to see/work with you this Summer as you interact with the individuals having special needs. Your hours will be recorded for your use as Community Service Hours and/or your applications for college or tech schools.
Notes:
Blooming Meadows is now being sponsored by Disability Services Resource Center, 1820 North Trumbull Drive, Bay City, 4806 (989-895-5444); Executive Director - Gail Frahm. Due to State licensing rules, the name needed to be changed. Formerly, Camp Meadows was sponsored by the YWCA - Great Lakes Bay Region.
The change of place is due to current construction being done at Bush School; we will be holding the Programs at Linsday School, 607 LaSalle, Bay City, 48706.
Inservice will be held the day each volunteer volunteers for the first time for the Summer. Please be at Linsday School at 9:30 AM on your first day of volunteering.
