Have you heard about the Saginaw Bay Reef Restoration Project? Meaghan Gass of Michigan Sea Grant visited with 4th graders today and explained how this project will provide better spawning habitat for walleye, whitefish, and cisco. They even got to decorate rocks that will become part of the reef this summer.

4th grade had beautiful weather today for a great trip to the State Park! The learned about wetland mammals, studied macro-invertebrates from the lagoon, and hiked to the beach.
