We love Ms. Gubbins and appreciate EVERYTHING she does for all of usππ

Fourth grade enjoyed a great field trip to the Alden B. Dow Home & Studio and the H.H. Dow Historical Museum today. They learned about local history, entrepreneurship, and creativity through these two Midland men.

Today the 4th grade classes ended a project that began in mid-October. They stocked approximately 120 Chinook salmon into the Kawkawlin River as a part of the Michigan DNR's Salmon in the Classroom program. The students in Ms. Engelhardt's class have been feeding and caring for these fish since they were eggs. Thank you to the parents and community member who came out to see the release, and a big thank you to the Great Lakes Bay Region Steelheaders for volunteering their time to help.

Kindergarten had the opportunity to listen to Mrs. D play her cello today.

Ms. Engelhardt's 4th grade class is excited to announce that they recently received a grant from Frankenmuth Credit Union to improve their science unit on animal adaptations. They now have new books, models, and art supplies to help them learn about how fins, scales, and camouflage help fish survive in the Great Lakes.

Happy St.Patrickβs Dayππ

The heroes of the earth club is hosting a plastic bag drive. The deadline to bring in bags will be Friday March 22. The class that collects the most bags will get reusable grocery bags donated by Meijer and a homemade cookie party from Mrs. Clickner. We will then tie all the bags together to see how many times we can go around our walking track! All bags will be recycled/re-purposed.
