Do you find yourself thinking about the next sports event at JG so you can not only cheer on your favorite BOBCAT but also get a bag of our fan favorite popcorn?! If you do you are not alone! We have been told by spectators that our popcorn is their favorite and we agree π We need help from our families and community members to keep our popcorn popping πΏ
The athletic department is putting out an incentive for the month of February for every shift you sign up for AND work .You will get one free ticket for admission to a game of your choice and a free bag of popcorn . That is in addition to the Booster Club 's volunteer payback to the sports team of your choice! Make sure to tell them what team you would like to support.
Its really a WIN WIN!
To claim your free admission ticket please make sure to mention this post at the time you check in for your shift. The athletic department will print you out a voucher within 24 hrs of your completed shift. Any questions regarding this incentive can be directed to Trisha McCrum in the JG athletic office.
LET"S GO BOBCATS πΎ

Tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 6th, we host our last Varsity Basketball doubleheaderβitβs SENIOR NIGHT π and our PEP BAND will be in the house!
We will recognize our seniors from both basketball teams and the Pom team between games (roughly 6:40 PM). We will also have a special performance from our Pom team during halftime of the boys' game. Come help us cheer on the Bobcats as they take on the Alma Panthers! πΎ
Freshman girls play at 4:00 VS Breckenridge JV girls
Varsity girls tip off at 5:30 PM, with the boys' game to follow.
We also have a group of JG students hosting a fundraiser for the Great Lakes Bay Region Youth Leadership group. These student leaders will be collecting funds to support Hidden Harvest. We are incredibly proud of their hearts for service and their desire to make a positive impact in our community. Plus, the Athletic Department will be giving away T-shirts while supplies last!
We can't wait to see you there! π

I could not be more proud of the way the team competed today. Even though it was not perfect and we left a couple matches out there. The girls are showing so much growth. We are starting to become consistent, technically sound and peeking at the right time. This was an incredibly challenging tournament. Gracie lost the finals to Celine Frank of Oxford and Jayden Chandler to defending State Champion Katana Richards of Bloomfield Hills. The girls beat four state ranked girls today. Including Mya Kukulski who beat both the 9 and 15 in her 235 pound bracket. Even the ladies who did not place today wrestled very well and won matches on challenging charts. They have really bought in and we are excited for what they can do at individual districts.
This week on 2/4 they have an opportunity to showcase girls wrestling in front of the school at an assembly dual. This is great for girls wrestling.
