John Glenn Girls Golf hosted Pinconning today and walked off with another win, bringing our season record to 7 and 1. Pinconning played us pretty tough...they've definitely improved quite a bit since we played each other last just a few weeks ago.
Noelle Pobanz also scored her best 9 hole round today as well!
Super cool to see the kids having fun and hitting the ball well. On the 1st tee, Glenn's first 4 golfers all hit draws off the tee and they looked pretty solid!
Sydnie Barron earns shot of the day - she had hit her ball into a bunker on hole 7. The only way she could take her stance and still hit the ball would be to stand outside the bunker and squat way down. The ball was at least a foot below her feet. She hit it out like a pro!
The girls next round is Regionals next Thursday10/10/24 at Currie Golf course.

Our Varsity Boys Soccer team finished the regular season 21-0-2 with another W tonight against the Broncos from North Branch with a final score of 8 0 What an incredible season and incredible group of young men! Yesterday John Glenn Girls Golf took on Bay City Central in a dual match and improved to 5-1 in duals with a winning score of 213-228! Noelle Pobanz led the way and even had a chip in on hole 7 for par! It's great seeing Noelle put it together and have fun on the course. She's not afraid to work on a troublesome club and put it to use. All the girls have been putting time in on the range and on the course and keep getting better and better.
