At last night's Board of Education meeting, Bangor West extended a special thank you to our board members. In honor of Board of Education Appreciation Month, students created thank you cards, a special banner and a fun video thanking our board for all of their hard work and dedication. It was a very sweet surprise!

Families can post the calendar on the fridge and mark a circle for any day their child is absent. Together, we’re encouraging students to aim for fewer than five absences this year!

📐SmartLab Fun!📐
Today in Mr. Willey's SmartLab, students were given five inches of duct tape, eight flexy straws, a pair of scissors and their imagination. They developed a plan, and executed their plan in a mission to build the highest freestanding structure they could. Current leader is 45 inches tall!

We are incredibly proud to announce that both our Christa McAuliffe Middle School and John Glenn High School Pom Pon teams have officially qualified for state competition!
These athletes left it all on the floor this past Saturday at Regionals, and their hard work has punched their ticket to Eastern Michigan University on Sunday, February 15th.
Congratulations to both teams, we look forward to cheering you on at states! 💙🤍
