Mark your calendars - we are ready for a full summer lineup of fun events! These events are open and free for all kids. We cannot wait to see you this summer!

Alex has shown incredible growth throughout the year and has truly become a role model for his peers on the bus. His positive choices, respect for others, and commitment to safety have not gone unnoticed.
Today, Alex was surprised by his bus driver, Bonnie, along with a visit from the school bus itself and a special gift and certificate to celebrate his achievement.
When asked what the most important rule on the bus is, Alex didnβt hesitate: βStay safe!β
We are so proud of you, Alex - congratulations! πβ¨

In 2013, Board of Education Trustee, Brooke Cunningham, started a tradition she wouldn't realize would come full circle. Brooke was a senior on Student Senate and passed down a t-shirt to freshman who exemplified what it meant to be a leader in high school. This shirt has been handed down every four years since, signed by the senior. Emma had been holding on to the shirt since freshman year and now it is her time to pass it on.
Emma shared a little about each member on the shirt. "Brooke is a trustee on our Board of Education and got her masters degree from the University of Michigan -Go Blue! Next is Sally Pudvan who also graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in psychology and is working as a behavioral tech in Arizona. To round it off, we also have Cayla Cataline who just this year produced Central Michigan University's annual fashion show. Each woman on this shirt has accomplished a lot since being in high school and I hope to live up to that legacy."
Brooke was in attendance to hear Emmaβs touching story and we were able to grab a photo of the two with the special shirt. Emma has done a phenomenal job at providing Student Senate updates at our Board of Education meetings and we wish her the best as she graduates next week. She will be attending the University of Michigan in the fall to study engineering.
Thank you, Emma for sharing this special story! We are continuously amazed by our alumni doing great things in the world. ππΎ
