What a magical night at our Wicked-themed Daddy Daughter Dance! 💚🩷✨
A huge thank you to our Spanish and Choir departments for putting together such a fun and memorable event for our families. From the decorations to the dancing, it was truly an evening to remember! We’re also grateful for the support of our community - proceeds from the event will help support both the Spanish Costa Rica trip and the Choir trip to Nashville. 🎶🌎

🎉We’re excited to share that Bangor West first grade teacher, Amy Bricker, was selected as a recipient of a Frankenmuth Credit Union Mini Grant! 🎉
Amy was honored alongside other grant winners last night, and we’re so proud of the impact she continues to make in her classroom. With this grant, Amy was able to purchase three Sphero indi Robot Student Kits - an engaging, screen-free tool that uses colored tiles to “program” and guide the robots. These hands-on resources will support both reading and math instruction while encouraging teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Best of all? They’re already a hit—students have been loving them! 🤖💙

Bangor Township Schools is committed to gathering meaningful feedback from our community as we begin the search for our next superintendent.
To provide even more opportunities for input, three additional in-person listening sessions have been added to Thursday. These sessions are designed to help us better understand the qualities, leadership traits, and priorities our community would like to see in the next superintendent.
All sessions are open to parents, families, and community members of Bangor Township Schools. Staff are welcome to attend any of the scheduled sessions; however, we kindly ask that staff refrain from attending the Wednesday 5:30 p.m. session so that community members’ voices can be prioritized during that time.
Attending a session is not required to participate in the process. Community members, staff, and families are also encouraged to share their input through the online survey, which will carry the same weight as attending an in-person session.
Your voice is important as we shape the future leadership of Bangor Township Schools.

Team 11458 finished the qualifying rounds as a Top 12 team, served as the captain of Alliance 7 during the playoffs, and earned the prestigious Rookie All-Star Award!
Coach Willey and Coach Barkell are incredibly proud of the dedication and hard work these students have put in. The Mechcats will be back in action next weekend at the Flint Kearsley competition on Saturday and Sunday. Let’s go, Bobcats! 🐾

We’re excited to share that John Glenn High School has received a 2026 Education Mini Grant from the Bay Area Community Foundation!
The grant will support “From Shadows to Heights: A Real-World Trigonometry Project,” led by math teacher Andrea Sobiesiak. Through this hands-on project, students will use real measurements and trigonometry to calculate the heights of objects around campus - bringing math to life outside the classroom!
