Michigan winter may be coming on strong, but our new drainage system isn't being pushed around! in previous years, our grounds would be flooded and various campus areas would be unusable. Congratulations to our Drama Program! The John Glenn One Act team competed with two productions at the MIFA One Act State Championships at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant. The Main Stage show was awarded 3rd place, People’s Choice, and The Innovation Award; and the Studio Production was named State Champions! The team was also awarded the Black Gaffer Award for amazing load in the set. #BobcatNation #StateChampions

Congratulations to Danzel Calhoun and Jaden Williams for their incredible accomplishments at the state lifting regionals at Dexter High School! Danzel placed 4th in his weight class at the JV level, and Jaden not only won his 165 pound weight class, but he finished with the highest total of all the weight classes! What an amazing achievement! We wish them the best of luck as they both head to the state finals in March! #BobcatNation #Powerlifting

On February 11 at Bay City Central, we had several band students perform as a part of District Solo and Ensemble. The students prepared their music outside of class and then performed for a judge who gave them a rating/score based on their performance. The following students/groups received a Division 2 rating: Gavin Gerard, Kaylee Rasmussen, Carlos Rocha and Shay-Lynne Shultz. The following students received a Division 1 rating: Carlos Rocha, Madison Davis, Peyton Gellise, Kahlan Dutkiewcz, and Natalee Chevalier. These students will be performing at State Solo and Ensemble in Midland on March 18th. Nice job by all students who performed and good luck to those competing at State Solo and Ensemble.
