On February 11 at Bay City Central, we had several band students perform as a part of District Solo and Ensemble. The students prepared their music outside of class and then performed for a judge who gave them a rating/score based on their performance.
The following students/groups received a Division 2 rating:
Gavin Gerard, Kaylee Rasmussen, Carlos Rocha and Shay-Lynne Shultz.
The following students received a Division 1 rating: Carlos Rocha, Madison Davis, Peyton Gellise, Kahlan Dutkiewcz, and Natalee Chevalier. These students will be performing at State Solo and Ensemble in Midland on March 18th.
Nice job by all students who performed and good luck to those competing at State Solo and Ensemble.
