🌟Meet Our Team Monday!🌟 Let's welcome Mr. Zak Zuzula, our new Assistant Principal of Athletics at John Glenn High & Christa McAuliffe Middle School! 🏫 With a journey from a middle school social studies teacher to leadership roles, Zak's background includes a Masters in Educational Technology from MSU and diverse coaching experiences. 📘🏀 Mr. Zuzula never envisioned a career in education growing up. However, a transformative two-week visit to his middle school history teacher during college opened his eyes to the profound impact educators have on young, eager minds. 👀🏫 This experience shifted his path toward education, leading him to embrace the program at SVSU with passion and enthusiasm. 🌟 Today, Zak finds joy in every day he spends in this field, living by the saying, "Find what you love, and you'll never work a day in your life."💼💙 Before joining the world of education, Mr. Zuzula was a traveling musician 🎶, touring the country and recording music 🎤 with his brother. This period was filled with fun and memorable experiences shared with a loved one ❤️. Today, Zak still enjoys playing music 🎸 and is passionate about athletics 🏃‍♂️, especially golf 🏌️‍♂️, which he plays as often as possible. He values family time, actively participating in his children's interests—from video games 🎮 and baseball ⚾ to enjoying golf with his wife! 💬 His favorite quotes are "No regrets" ✨ and "Nobody woke up today wanting to be average" 🚀. 🌈📚 Welcome aboard, Mr. Zuzula!
