Meet Austin Fader our JV head coach for our lady BOBCATS!
Hello Bobcat Nation! Iβm Austin Fader and Iβm excited to join coach Adam Moore and the girls basketball program here at John Glenn. I played for coach Adam during my high school career, and he helped send me off to play basketball at Grace Bible College after high school. Iβm a native of the thumb, and my wife and I are currently raising our 3 kids (Camden 6, Jordyn 3, Quinn 10 months) in Midland. We love our time together as a family and you can typically find us on some out of the house adventure led by our 6 year old, church, or watching the Lions. Weβre a family passionate about sports, particularly the side that teaches the life skills and lessons such as communication, teamwork, and overcoming adversity. Iβm excited for the season and canβt wait to see where our hard work takes us this season. Go Bobcats!
We are so excited to have you on our team Coach Fader πΎπ

7th Grade Volleyball teams getting in a Friday practice before their Monday game. ππ€π

The 8th grade volleyball team traveled to Freeland on Monday night for their opening match of the season. Both the Blue and White teams came away with victories over the Falcons, picking up right where they left off last year!
Every player contributed to their teamβs success, but spotlight performances were made by the following student athletes:
For the White team, Brooklynn Bullock was devastating with her front row play and excellent serves while Pria Herek had multiple attacks at the net and key blocks for her team.
For the Blue team, Ella Bailey had an amazing kick save for her team, along with multiple attacks and kills, and Grace Garcia dominated the net, devastating Freeland with her blocking ability.
Great job ladies! The next match is Monday vs. Frankenmuth at 4:30
Just a reminder that GOFAN ticketing is the only way to purchase admission in the district games hosted here at JG. No passes and no cash will be accepted for entry. Admission is $7 and can be purchased using this link for tonight's match up
