The Bobcat Boys Tennis team traveled to Flint Kearsley on September 1st and came away with a strong 7 match to 1 match victory. This raised the boys team record to a strong 7 wins against 2 losses. Winning Bobcats on the day were:

The Bobcat Boys Tennis Team corralled the Mustangs of Clio High School this past Wednesday on their home courts. It was a close battle until the very end with the Bobcats winning two out of three tie-break matches. The match of the day was when Gage Burgeson came from behind (down by one set) and came back to win the 3rd set in a tie-breaker score of 10 to 7.

The Bobcat Boys Tennis Team took on the Hornets of Flint Kearsley this past Thursday. Coming off a strong win against Hemlock earlier in the week, the Bobcat Boys kept their winning streak going with a resounding win over the Hornets. This was the very 1st meeting of the Bobcats and the Hornets on our home courts and the Bobcat Boys won every match today in straight sets for an 8 to 0 match win.

The Bobcat Boys now travel today to play in the Sandusky Invitational, which they won for the 1st time last year. They will be playing hard against three other schools to keep the “Invitational Trophy” at John Glenn for another year!
Awesome job to our Varsity Volleyball team! Last night they played at All Saints High School for their county tournament. The girls battled hard all the way into the semi finals, Great job!
The Bobcat Girls Gold team traveled south this week to Prestwick Village GC. The girls played awesome this week, for a long track...tour caliber fairways and greens. It was a treat to be able to get the girls on that course! What a great day!
Glenn finished 9th overall out 11 teams.
The Bobcat Boys Tennis Team took on the Huskies of Hemlock this past Monday. Head Coach Mike Cherry mixed up the lineup a little for the match and when the dust had cleared the Bobcat Boys ran away with a 7 to 1 match win. The highlight match of the day was a nail biter match at #2 Doubles where Luke Wilson & Collin Meyer came from behind in the third set to win in a tie-breaker!

The Bobcat Boys Tennis Team fought hard on the courts last Friday for almost 7 hours. In the end they were just 4 match wins short, losing to Saginaw Nouvel by a match score of 18 to 14.
The John Glenn Boys came in 2nd place ahead of Bullock Creek and Hemlock. Flight winners on the day and taking home trophies were:
Jack Dwan - #1 Singles. (unbeaten on the day)
Vance & Owen LaCourt - #4 Doubles (unbeaten on the day)

The Bobcats hosted the 20th annual Bobcat Pentathlon opening the girls swimming and diving season with teams from Glenn, Garber, Standish, Central, Western, and Mt. Pleasant. It was great to be back in the water and have a pool full of swimmers, parents, and fans. The Glenn girls did a great job and finished with 6 girls in the top 10.
