A little snippet of information on the 2023 Bay County Volleyball Leaders from MLive;
BAY CITY, MI -- Lillian Kaczynski is quarterback of the John Glenn volleyball team.
And because of her leadership abilities and her passing skills, the Bobcats are thrilled with their QB1.
With a strong senior season, Kaczynski made a bit of history, becoming the first John Glenn setter to top the Bay County Volleyball Leaders in assists. Her 5.70 assists per game set the pace among players from Bay City Central, Bay City Western, John Glenn, Essexville Garber, Pinconning and Bay City All Saints. Since the Bay County Volleyball Leaders list began in 2004, every team had sent a setter to the top spot -- led by Garber with eight assist champions and Central with seven -- with the exception of John Glenn. But Kaczynski changed that with her quarterbacking skills.
Glenn teammate Kaylee Swincicki also claimed a Bay County stat title, leading the way in digs with 4.30 per game. She inherits the mantle from three-time winner Laney Kokaly, the Garber grad now playing at Northwood University.
