Tomorrow Wednesday October 25th the JG Volleyball program will be having a bake sale during their games! Proceeds will go to the Bay Veterans Foundation in Bay City. The girls are dedicating this contest to all those who have fought and continue to fight to protect us and our freedom! Join us as we pay tribute to all active duty military and veterans during the military appreciation games here at JG starting with freshman at 4:30! We will host the Vikings from Swan Valley high School in the last home game of the season! Let's pack the stands BOBCATS!
Free ADMISSION to those who serve and have served our country, thank you for your service!

A couple bright spots in the TVC Overall Championship meet by the Bobcats hosted by Birch Runβ¦
Henry Schanbeck was named 3rd team all conference with his season best performance of 17:18.5 for the 5k distance.
On the ladies side John Glenn athletes performing season best times were Destiny Wasoski, Madison Shorkey, Bella Town, Kyleigh Bunting and Aubrey Beson.
On the boys side in addition to Henry, Jonathan Noel and Reese Lepeak had season best races.
At the middle school level Leif Briggs-Lind finished 4th in the conference with a great race at 12:01.6.
Next up for the Bobcats is the regional meet at Shepherd for the varsity team next Friday and at Manton HS for the middle school team this Saturday. Great work!

Congratulations to the Girls Swim Team for their 3rd place finish at the Tri-Cities Swimming & Diving Championships at SVSU this weekend. After a fast prelim session on Thursday with numerous season and personal best times along with a couple state qualifying times, the Lady Bobcats came back for the finals and did it all over again and more.

This Friday night football was not the only sport taking place at John Glenn.The Bobcat Boys Tennis team took advantage of the Friday Night Marching Band Music, the football crowds walking past the tennis courts, and AC/DC music blaring from within "John Loop" stadium and rode the "School Spirit" strong, taking on the Dukes of Garber tonight. In the end "Bobcat Spirit" prevailed as the Bobcats took down Garber by a match score of 6 to 2. Your Bobcat Boys are now posting a 9 win, 2 loss, and 1 tie season and sit proudly in 1st place in their Conference.

Handicap parking is available behind CMMS until full (for JG events using the multipurpose field).
Please do not park in the designated handicap spaces if you do not have a handicap permit. This area will be monitored and can be ticketed.
Admission is $5 cash ONLY we do not offer online ticketing or credit card payment at this time. John Glenn event passes and TVC purple passes are accepted at all regular season games.
Tailgating may be available for home games keep an eye out for sign ups for those designated dates!

Kiera Inda is John Glenn's Female Student Athlete of The Week for September 11th Through September 15th. Kiera is a 4 year Varsity player that has held the #1 spot for 3 of those years. She's dedicated herself to the game and has shown great strides over the years. She is the back-to-back Bay County Championship medalist. Her 81 this year was the 4th lowest score in the Bay County Championship history, that dates back to its origin in 1997. She was 2nd team all conference her 9th and 10th grade years.

Garrett Forgash is John Glenn's Male Student Athlete of The Week For September 11th Through September 15th. Garett is a leader on the field and in the classroom where is is a member of the National Honor Society. He had an incredible 18 tackle performance against Frankenmuth last week and continues to play at a very high level week in and week out. He is a captain on our team and a 3 year Varsity starter. He is also a member of the wrestling and golf teams. Garett is a three sport athlete that puts in the work that it takes to excel at all of them. His work ethic and character continue to lead our culture in the right direction.

The Lady Bobcats welcomed the Irish from Notre Dame Prep tonight. It was a close meet with JG scoring 85 points and Notre Dame scoring 95. The girls dropped times in many events and showed their Bobcat Pride. Jayna Darbee won the 50 Free (26.76) and 100 Free (58.24), Kate Cataline won diving (137.25), and Lola Fisher won the 100 Breast (1:21.84)

The Bobcat Boys Tennis Team took on the Oilers of Mt. Pleasant on our home courts today. After.a long battle in the heat today your Bobcat Boys emerged victorious taking down Mt. Pleasant 7 matches to 1. Bobcat Coach Miller was quoted saying, "These boys just keep getting stronger with every team we face, by the time we reach Regionals, we will be a force to be reckoned with!"
