Attention 8th Grade Parents and Guardians:
Please see the attached list of students that will be receiving awards at 8th grade celebration. The 8th grade awards ceremony will be taking place at the John Glenn Auditorium on Monday, June 6th from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. Due to the limited parking in the John Glenn lots, we ask that only handicap and senior citizen guests park in the high school lots. All other guests should park in the middle school lot and walk over to the high school building and enter through the main entrance on the east side of the building.

CMMS “Surfs Up” dance was a huge success! Students had a surfer dude good time dancing, games, Kona ice, etc.
Mrs Wilford Teen Talk class had fun and learned the impact of driving under the influence of Drugs and Alcohol with Trooper Burch!
CMMS STEM Club had a great afternoon at the Delta College Planetarium!

CMMS Chief Science Officer’s (CSO) continue to amaze with their leadership! Emma Dabrowski did a great job as an emcee for the annual CSO Banquet. Alexa Snawder wowed everyone with her Action Plan overview and her global impact with students in Africa!
7th Graders had a great day at The Henry Ford museum and Ford Rouge Factory!
The CMMS after school tutoring and Kindness with a Kick Club are canceled this week due to illness with our transportation department.

This is a friendly reminder that our 6th graders will be taking the ELA and Math M-STEP tests tomorrow. Please make sure that your CMMS student brings their fully charged, school - issued Chromebooks and wired headphones if they have them. Airpods are not allowed.
The CMMS Lighthouse/ Leadership team performed a Anti-smoking, healthy choices play “Samatha Skunk” to 1st graders at all 3 elementary schools! Fabulous job!

We will be hosting an Open House for the 5th graders who will be attending CMMS for the 2022-2023 school year. The Open House will be taking place on Wednesday, May 18th from 5:30 - 6:30. We hope to see you then!

CMMS Track update for Today Tuesday April 26th:
Due to the weather conditions, Alma HS has canceled their track meet for today. Anyone that purchased a ticket through Alma on GoFan will be reimbursed by Alma HS within the next 48 hours.
