Track Athletes competed at the State Finals over the weekend and performed very well.
Bradley Boyk finished 19th overall in the 100m Dash
Bradly Boyk, Angel Arocha, Johnny ford, and Arrow Van Wagoner finsihed 23rd overall in the 4X200
Both finishes were above where they were anticipated and the whole group is back again next year to try again!

BRADLEY BOYK, JOHN GLENN
It’s safe to say Boyk is making a splash in his first varsity season with the John Glenn boys track and field team. The standout sprinter punched his ticket to the Division 2 state championships in the 100 dash, 4x100 relay and 4x200 relay. “Fun fact: He is the only freshman to qualify for the state finals in the 100 in Division 2,” coach Scott Jacobs said. Boyk posted a personal record of 11.18 in the 100 during regional prelims.
Today is the day! Cheer tryouts will be held in the gym 2:30-4:30. Please see the attached flyer for addtional information regarding tryouts!
