Our Varsiity Boys Soccer team added yet another WIN to their seaon last night taking on the Vikings at Swan Valley! The boys are still undefeated with an impressive 19-0-2. Asher Clark scored 3 goals assisted by Brady Priemer and Paul Nori and the third from a free kick. The 4th goal was scored by Dylan Wood assisted by Brayden Lang. Your next opportunity to watch this amazing team is Wednesday, Oct. 2 at Laker High School at 4:30 pm. Come support your Bobcats!

Yesterday John Glenn Girls Golf took on Bay City Central in a dual match and improved to 5-1 in duals with a winning score of 213-228! Noelle Pobanz led the way and even had a chip in on hole 7 for par! It's great seeing Noelle put it together and have fun on the course. She's not afraid to work on a troublesome club and put it to use. All the girls have been putting time in on the range and on the course and keep getting better and better.

Our BOBCATS were busy this weekend!! Friday morning our Boys Tennis team went to Midland and battled for over 5 hours on the courts to end the day victorious and walked away with the TVC championship trophy! Our Varsity football team took down the Bridgeport Bearcats 55 14 under the Friday night lights! Our cheerleaders were there cheering them on to VICTORY and the student section was having a blast decked out in their PJs! On Saturday the action continued as Cross Country headed to Shepard where they particpated in the Bluejay invite. They had a beautiful day to run a pretty cool course amoungst over 100 schools. Headed south was our Varsity Soccer team to Swartz Creek to compete in a tournament where they went 3-0 and took home the tournament trophy! This continues their winning streak and puts them at 18 wins 0 loses 2 ties for the season!!! The MIHSSCA high school division two rankings show John Glenn High school at #8 ⚽ In Cadillac on Saturday our Varsity Volleyball team participated in a tournament where they faced some tough competition. They didn't come home with a trophy but they were able to compete and have an experience to build off. All in all it was a great weekend to be a BOBCAT! We are proud of our teams , the coaches and all the athletes for the efforts they put in each day. GO BLUE GO WHITE!

"Bobcat Boys win TVC" Today at the Midland Teniis Center your Bobcat Boys Tennis Team battled for over 5 hours on the tennis courts and walked away with the TVC Championship Trophy. Nouvel took 2nd place and Garber was 3rd. Coach Miller was quoted "I am speechless, this Trophy had eluded us for a while, despite coming within one point of taking it last year. So this year, this was our teams #1 goal. We even talked daily about what our 6 Senior Players wanted to leave as their "Legacy". It was this trophy! Every single boy took part today in building this Legacy! Every single Bobcat player won at least one match today, which is unprecedented in our TVC. This truly was a team win! John Glenn lady golfers went out to Alma today to compete in an 18 hole event. They played well and put in a great effort. Senior Noelle Pobanz scored her best 9 home score of 45 and finished 13th overall!

Your Bobcat Boys Varsity Tennis team took on the Huskies of Hemlock tonight and came away with a very strong 6 to 2 match win. Coach Miller was quoted "What a way to celebrate Senior Night then with a strong conference win the week of our TVC conference championship. These boys have played an incredibly strong conference schedule this year." The highlights of the match saw our Doubles team of Nic Naylor and Will Gallagher go unbeaten in the TVC, and also our Doubles team of Corbin Sanborn and Dylan Werner go unbeaten in the TVC. Your Bobcat Boys Varsity Tennis team took on the Dukes of Garber tonight and came away with a very strong 7 to 1 match win. Coach Sanborn was quoted "Our boys are firing on all cylinders now, this match win is the strongest we have ever had against Garber." The highlights of the match were a pair of 2 1/2 hour marathon matches that saw #2 Doubles Team Patrick Dwan and Colin Meyer and #2 Singles player JT Breen fight back to defeat their Garber opponents in 3 sets!
