Today Wednesday Sept 24th the CMMS 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams will be playing their game here at John Glenn High School. We are excited to give them the opportunity to compete in the high school gymnasium. Please keep in mind that parking is in the back of the building. Please use the drive that is closest to our soccer field for the easiest access to our entrance. Please use the Athletic EVENT Entrance. This entrance is located by our pool and just before our gym entrance.

With all the construction happening on our campus we wanted to make sure everyone is aware of where to enter for events here at JG. DO NOT ENTER THROUGH THE GYM DOORS (Athletic Entrance). That entrance is only for high school athletes, coaches and staff.

Once you enter the Athletic Event Entrance you will follow the hall to the end passing by the pool and the athletic office then take a left. You will pass by concessions and through the double doors, our gym will be on the left.

The cost to enter will be $6 via GOFAN, credit card or cash.

Attention Bobcat Fans: Information for this Friday's football game at Garber. There will be parking on both sides of the field at Garber, you are welcome to use either area to park. Gates open at 5:50pm on Friday, they are hoping to reduce lines for entry by asking people to show up early so you don't miss any action while waiting to get in. Finally Garber is cashless and tickets can only be purchased through Gofan: https://gofan.co/event/3720844?schoolId=MI4406

John Glenn Girls Golf headed to our 3rd TVC event at Valley View Farms GC on Wednesday. We had some near perfect weather matched by some really solid play...again. πŸ˜€

Glenn finished 3rd overall and had some new PRs as well!
Kate Cataline led the way with an 84, followed closely by Alli Caldwell with an 85. Kahlan Dutkiewicz also shot her PR with a 111 and Liya Bossbach with a 118.

Glenn fires a 374!

I'm very proud of how they are all playing. There is a lot of dedication to the team and improvement, for instance, Lauren was recently fitted for new irons and didn't have the yardages down....which led to a higher score than normal yesterday, so after our 18 holes yesterday, she went to Bay Valley and hit range to get them dialed in!

Bobcats Tennis Boys Stay Perfect with Sweep Over Alma Panthers The John Glenn High School Bobcats Boys Varsity Tennis team continued their dominant run this season, defeating the Alma High School Panthers by a decisive match score of 8-0 on Tuesday. With the victory, the Bobcats remain unbeaten at the halfway point of their season, firmly holding their spot atop the conference standings. βΈ» John Glenn JV Volleyball Shines at Durand Quad The John Glenn JV volleyball team hit the road Monday, traveling to Durand High School to take part in a competitive quad with Durand, Perry, and Swan Valley. The Bobcats showed up strong and left even stronger, going a perfect 6-0 on the day. Glenn’s success was built on discipline, focus, and relentless energy from start to finish. The offense kept opponents guessing with powerful swings, smart ball placement, and strong blocks at the net that shut down scoring opportunities. On top of that, the Bobcats’ serving game was outstanding, keeping pressure on their opponents and creating scoring runs. The combination of effort, teamwork, and determination proved John Glenn to be unstoppable.

John Glenn JV Volleyball Battles to Silver Bracket Semifinals at Mount Pleasant Tournament The John Glenn JV volleyball team showed heart, grit, and perseverance today at the Mount Pleasant JV Tournament, advancing to the semifinals of the silver bracket. The Lady Bobcats fought hard throughout the day, never backing down even when faced with tough competition and big deficits. One of the highlights came against Traverse City West, where the team rallied from an 11–1 deficit to close the gap and push their opponent to the limit. In the semifinal match, John Glenn went head-to-head with Bay City Western. Despite their determination, the Bobcats fell just short, dropping the match with scores of 21–25 and 22–25. Though the tournament ended in the semifinals, the effort and teamwork displayed by John Glenn JV was a true testament to their resilience. Their ability to battle back, support one another, and compete with heart was on full display, leaving plenty of momentum to carry forward into the rest of the season.

John Glenn Girls Golf traveled to Pine River Country Club in Alma for our TVC#2 Jamboree. I'm not sure why, but this course tends to eat our lunch. It has for both boys and girls teams over the years. Yesterday, it did NOT do that! We have Personal Bests from Alli Caldwell, Lauren Atkins, Kate Cataline, and Kahlan Dutkiewicz.
And with playing well, Glenn landed in 3rd place, behind Freeland and Frankenmuth.
