You are receiving this communication because we held a lockdown drill today. Please know this drill was completely precautionary and an opportunity to practice keeping our students safe in the event of an emergency. The State of Michigan mandates that we hold three lockdown drills each school year. These drills provide us with useful information in how we design our School Safety Plans. We regularly review our procedures to help ensure we are providing the safest building we can for our students and staff. If you have any questions about drills or school safety, please feel free to contact me.

Friendly reminder that tomorrow, February 12th is the last day to turn in Valentine Grams and money to your child's teacher. If you are in need of extra Valentine Grams, please reach out to your child's teacher. Thank you!

We are excited to see those that are joining us for the Snowball Dance tonight! We will use the Day Care/Gym entrance by the library. I will be out greeting everyone and checking people in so when we open the doors at 6:00 everyone can come in and have fun. To ensure everyone has a great time, please:
1. Come ready to have fun!
2. Make sure you come as a family. This is not a drop off event, students must be accompanied by an adult (parents, grandparents, aunt/uncles).
3. Bring your cell phones and cameras. We have a cute picture area set up in the library and a staff member or volunteer will be available to take your picture for your family. We have another photo opportunity in the hallway by the playground doors.
4. If your child would like to make a winter bookmark, that will be our craft for the evening and will be done at the tables in the hallway outside the library.
5. We have a cookie and juice or water for each of our guests this evening. We will stamp your hand when you get your refreshment.
6. Please keep food and drinks outside the gym.
Doors open at 6:00 and we dance until 8:00! See you soon!

We will use the gym door for drop off and pick up the next 2 days. Give yourself a few extra minutes and have a safe drive in.

Good morning, we will come in through the gym for drop off this week. We will also dismiss out of the gym at the end of the day. Thank you.

Good morning. We will use the gym entrance this week for drop off and pick up. We will see you soon!

Good morning! We will use the gym for morning drop off and afternoon dismissal. Please be careful if you use Wheeler and State Park Dr. to come to school, it was quite slippery this morning. Please have students bring appropriate gear for being outside today. If you have a reusable bag they can bring it in, it makes getting those items back home easier. Thank you and have a safe drive in.

Happy New Year Bangor Central families! We are excited to see our students back tomorrow, January 2nd. The next week looks to be quite cold, remember those hats, gloves, and jackets so we can be warm when outside getting as much sunshine as possible. We want to make sure that our students get their heavy coats, snow pants, gloves, and boots back when items get misplaced. Please take time to label your students items with their names.
Enjoy your evening and we will see you tomorrow!
